Friday Night Sew In - August

For this month's Friday Night Sew In I was able to make

some progress on my project for the doll quilt swap.

My partner loves bright colors...especially orange,

so I chose a variety of cheerful looking fabrics.

The background fabric looks black in the photo,

but is actually a rich chocolate brown.

Is it possible to go wrong when chocolate

is involved?

Sweet Ride

This year for our wedding anniversary, my husband and I

decided to take a leap into the world of cycling.

 Finally, we have found an outdoor activity

we can enjoy together...

...and we are enjoying it alot!

Doll Quilt Swap 9 - In Progress

    After much thought considering the interests

of my partner,  I've finally decided

on a plan for my doll quilt.

My inspiration is a colorful striped fabric by

Michael Miller and an array of accent fabrics with

differing patterns.

I love it when a plan comes together:)
