Kitty Quilter

I laugh every time I look at this photo. I was trying to machine quilt a wall hanging, and kitty was really sleepy. Everytime I tried to adjust the quilt to a different position, he would get angry at me for making him move. I think his eyes say it all. LOL

  1. That cat definitely wishes you'd leave that quilt alone! ;-)

I found the pieces turned wrong direction. You know, of course, that is your "humility block", and you intended it to be that way. ;-)

I love seeing pictures of antique quilts, all exquisitely done, and then one piece or block oddly, and so obviously, different from the rest.

I've been slowly stitching 3" 4-patches, using up some Civil War scraps. I'd thought about putting them together in this layout, but really like the look of your double 4-patch, too. Have to consider that one for mine.

  3. Hi,
Just came across your blog! Your kitty looks just like my Malibu. It never fails, when I decide to quilt, he decides it is time for a nap and what better place than a quilt! Guess they don't realize it makes it hard to manipulate the quilt :)
