Cloth Feminine Pad Donor Update

I'm happy to share that boxes of cloth feminine pads
continue to arrive at Gateway Church!
Words cannot express our thanks to all who so generously
give of their time and resources. If you are unfamiliar with the
cloth feminine pad project, you can learn more about it here.

It has been a few months since I've taken time to update
the blog but wanted to give you an opportunity
to share in the blessing of these gifts.
This post covers all packages received between
March 1, 2015 and September 15, 2015.
A total of 367 pads arrived from the following locations...

86 lovely pads were sent by Carrie in Pennsylvania.

These pads were donated by a beginning sewer
  from Scott, Louisiana:)

Recently a box arrived from the Harvest Quilters of Plainfield, New Jersey.
Included were 61 cloth pads, fabric to sew more pads, soap, safety pins,
underwear, and ibuprofen tablets.

Kim from Idaho sent these well made pads.
I love how she felt compelled to share 5 pads.
Her gift will be greatly appreciated by a student in Haiti!

The Martin family sent these pads from
 Massachusetts!

Brigitte and her "Sit & Sew"group in New South Wales, Australia
sent these lovely pads. The Sit & Sew group enclosed a letter sharing how they
are a small group of working women who meet each week
for a time of sewing and fellowship. They focus on projects to bless others
and generously wanted to support our cause.

This shipment of pads arrived as a group effort from a family in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
A mother, daughter, and daughter in law spent time sewing 133 pads and 14 floral bags!

Once again, thank you to everyone who contributed! The increasing number of donations
is having a real impact in Haiti. If you would like to bless a girl in Haiti by sewing reusable
cloth feminine pads, we would love to hear from you!

May you always Sew in Peace!
