So excited to share the packages that have been sent
for the cloth feminine pad project! If you are unfamiliar with
this program, you can read about it here. I am humbled and amazed at the
number of hearts God is stirring to bless the young women of Haiti.
This post covers all packages received between
January 1 and February 29, 2016.
A total of 1,246 pads arrived from the following locations...
Billie sent these colorful pads all the way from from Sioux Falls, South Dakota!
These pads were donated at the Sew*Quilt*Share January Meeting.
Kathy from Minnesota sent this gift of pads, and included underwear,
soap, ibuprofen, and safety pins!
These pads were donated at the Sew*Quilt*Share February Meeting.
88 pads were sent by Shannon from New York.
These fabrics make me smile!
217 pads were donated by the
Daughters of The American Revolution - Northwest District
and
Nimble Fingers Quilt Guild, of Fostoria, Ohio.
They also included underwear, ibuprofen, several bars of soap,
safety pins and extra fabric. Thank you ladies!
109 bags and 130 cloth feminine pads recently arrived from the
Women and Girls of the Nampa, Idaho
East Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
Thank you ladies!
The Girl Scouts of Central Texas Midtown Service Unit sent this
gift of 73 pads. I love the thought of these girls sewing to bless other girls.
We appreciate your thoughtfulness!
A gift of 110 pads arrived from the Oakland County Quilt Guild of
Rochester, Michigan! Love these pretty fabrics!
114 colorful pads were donated by Heidi and the customers at
Sew Nice in Upper Sandusky, Ohio!
250 pads were sent by Dorothy in Michigan.
